The Moose Masquerade Ball has become something of a “best-kept-secret” of Halloween music-happenings in New York City for the past three years, and it happens to be the creation of none other than our previous Featured Artist Valerie Broussard and her brother Drew of The Public Theatre Organization. Now that Valerie currently resides in Los Angeles, she has decided to bring the evening event of music, costumes, and spooks to the West Coast.
According to the press release, the event, hosted by Valerie and held at The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, will bring together local Los Angeles musicians including Greg Holden, the Guest and the Host, Garrison Starr, Caroline Pennell, PJ Pacifico, Sleeping Wolf, and more. In addition to a night of music and potentially some mini-sized candy, this is all going to benefit the Alive Inside Foundation, which works with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients and uses music and story to help those with these degenerative diseases cultivate deeper connections with their caretakers and loved ones.
You can purchase tickets for the Oct. 28th event for only ten dollars and enjoy the Halloween weekend with some great LA up-and-comers and benefitting a great foundation.
